The Saguaro Hotel
The Saguaro Hotel is known for its bright colors and fun Instagram photos in Palm Springs. We’ve stayed here a few times before, but we were happy to see their newly painted hotel in their collaboration with Dunn Edwards. It made the hotel even more colorful and bright, which of course led us to running around to all the walls taking photos. With this collaboration, they also brought in colorful Jenga blocks in the lobby and new fire pits outside. The Desert Night Menu
The food at The Saguaro Hotel is absolutely delicious, so we were excited to hear they had a new Desert Night Menu the night we arrived! The new menu includes 3 drinks: Mexican Hot Chocolate, Hot Spiked Cider, and Mulled Wine along with 3 food items: Fondue Fries, Pulled Pork Sliders, and Make Your Own S’mores for the bonfire!

Great Shakes
Our top pick to satisfy your sweet tooth has to be the famous Great Shakes! With over 20 creative flavors there’s something for everyone! Some of our favorite picks include the Banana Caramel Graham, the Cakeshake, Date Shake (exclusive to this location), Oreo With Caramel Swirl, and the Peanut Butter Banana. We love that Great Shakes uses all natural and whole ingredients and that they have a unique sugar alternative. Great Shakes is a family owned restaurant with two locations: one in Palm Springs and one in Riverside, California.

Birba Restaurant
Birba is the perfect Girls Night Out restaurant in Palm Springs. The beautiful outdoor restaurant has a rustic, elegant feel with beautifully crafted wood tables. The menu includes handcrafted cocktails, weekly specials, delicate salads, homemade pasta, and pizza. Some of our favorites were the Margherita Pizza, Tagliatelle Pasta, and the Branzino. We had a wonderful dinner, chatting and laughing under the stars and string lights.
What To Do
The Moorten Botanical & Cactus Garden
We LOVED exploring the Moorten Botanical & Cactus Garden! We highly recommend this place as your activity in Palm Springs. Not only were we in love with the beautiful plants all over the property, but also in love with the owner and hearing the story behind it. It’s so amazing to hear how it was nothing before and how his father started this garden, one plant at a time.
Where To Caffeinate
Ernest Coffee
One of our favorite coffee shops (by far) in Palm Springs is Ernest Coffee! Last time we were visiting Palm Springs we stopped by here for a couple hours to work and we were so impressed with everything. Their customer service is SO SWEET, the location is beautiful and everything we tried tasted SO good! Everything they do has attention high quality including making their own syrups in-house, and it shows. Fun fact: all of their specials are created by the baristas! They hold a competition between all the baristas to think outside the box and create a new drink and then pick the best ones to put on the menu. Isn’t that so fun?!
