1)We would love to get to know you more. Tell us a little bit about yourself.

Hi! My name is Marissa, the blogger behind Marissa Row. I am 23 years old and I am a fashion and lifestyle blogger who has a major obsession with hotel room service and skincare products.

My life was always pretty structured growing up all the way to college. Then I felt it was time to be rebellious and a couple of years later, once I found what it was that I wanted to do, MarissaRow.com was created. It’s been a year in the game and I still wake up every day so grateful and happy about what i do for a living.

2) How would you describe your sense of style?

I would consider my style to be fashion forward with a constant rotation of evergreen pieces. I’ve never had a closet that didn’t contain a good pair of denim jeans, a great solid tee, and classic nude heels.

3) When did you first become interested in fashion?

Always? Is that an acceptable answer? My mom dressed me everyday like it was Sunday’s Best and I thoroughly enjoyed playing dress up. Minus the huge bows which I now regret. Haha.

Also I was in private school that required a strict uniform and I found myself trying to bend the rules by adding touches to my uniform that would give my everyday school girl plaid personality. So I’d say that moment was reassurance to my fashion obsession.

4) If you had to pick one store to shop at for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Gosh, this is so hard. If I had to pick one, it would be Shopbop. They carry some of my favorite brands all under one platform. I hardly ever go inside a mall or store anymore.

5) What is your must-have accessory?

A good pair of heels. It doesn’t have to be high. I am OBSESSED with kitten heels right now. It’s adding years on my lifespan of being able to wear heels when they are so low.

6) Who is your main fashion inspiration?

Eva Chen. She is the head of Fashion at Instagram and I absolutely love her style. She is just the right amount of extra but it’s never overdone and ALWAYS classy.

7) What are your future goals for your brand?

My future goal is to create a line in collaboration with a brand. My favorite most recent collaboration was Chriselle Lim x JOA. I love how brands are trusting their influencers to create what they want and what their audience wants. #goals

8) What makes you feel beautiful?

A great pair of silk pajamas and a clean washed face. As much as I love what I do, I love coming home and pampering my face with a great night skin care routine and then snuggling with my cavapoo pup.

9) What makes your heart beat? What do you believe in, stand for, and want to tell others about?

Gosh, I’m so emotional, so everything makes my heart flutter, but the top heart beating moment is when I board a plane to somewhere new. I love traveling and the world is the best classroom if you’re open-minded. I stand for women “total boss babes”, equality, community over competition, and inclusion. I mean, it would be crazy of me to be a woman and not stand for us.
