Can you explain your mood board and what these images mean to you?
When I’m creating my mood boards, I always like to find images that correlate with one or more of my goals for the year. For example, I have an image of a laptop and pretty office accessories. This year I want to start blogging. The image of the outfit correlates to my desire to continue to play around with fashion as an outlet for creativity.
How did the Dream Life 2020 Journal Prompts help you create your mood boards?
The prompts helped me to reflect on my wins from 2019 which are things that I want to carry into 2020 and are included in my mood board! It also helped me to think about what I truly want to accomplish in 2020 and the overall vibe I want this year to have.
Did anything surprise you during this process?
Honestly, nothing really surprised me during this process. The answers were things that I kind of knew already but it’s good practice to put these thoughts into words on paper. It serves as a good reminder of where I am and where I want to go. It’s always good to really reflect and access what’s going well and what you want more of in your life. I also re-realized how much I love putting together moodboards!
